I am an experienced employment solicitor and senior legal trainer within Lewis Silkin’s specialist training team.
I have a real passion for delivering training, both in person and across virtual platforms. I train HR professionals, people mangers, in-house legal teams and business leaders on a wide range of employment law topics to support organisations maintain effective employment practices and improve workplace culture. I draw on my experience as an in house lawyer at multinational organisations to help navigate the practical challenges faced by businesses, in particular when implementing legal, regulatory or cultural change.
I enjoy working with clients to design training that reflects their organisation's values and talent strategy, and more recently, have focussed on diversity, equity and inclusion issues, with a view to embedding more inclusive working practices and promoting positive workplace behaviour. I also create eLearning programmes for clients which enable effective training to be delivered to the workforce with ease.
Our training uses a variety of learning methods to ensure it is engaging, interactive and insightful. Our scenario based learning around practical issues that can arise in the workplace are designed to promote understanding, draw out discussion, explore challenges and encourage knowledge sharing. Our training provides practical guidance to delegates on navigating workplace issues and improving everyday workplace behaviours.
I am passionate about fostering truly equitable and inclusive workplaces and I'm delighted to be a committee member of the Law Society’s Women Solicitors Network; we work closely with the Law Society to improve access and inclusion across the legal profession. I'm also mentor to junior lawyers entering the legal profession.
