This is the next session in Lewis Silkin's Pro Bono Skills Academy series. This webinar will focus on how to approach mental health issues in the workplace. The session is aimed at people managers and those with supervisory responsibilities within UK-based charities and not-for-profit organisations.

Mental health is an increasingly important area for organisations with millions of working days lost each year to mental health conditions such as stress, anxiety and depression. In this session for people managers and those with supervisory responsibilities, we will explore:

  • Impact of the pandemic on mental health
  • How to promote wellbeing in your team
  • How to check in on your wellbeing
  • How to approach a conversation if you are concerned and techniques to get people talking
  • How to manage and support someone who is currently feeling unwell/returning to work

This is the first session in the Lewis Silkin Pro Bono Skills Academy programme for 2024. The Skills Academy is a new initiative that aims to give charities and not-for-profits a holistic programme of free training to empower them with the skills needed to tackle a wide range of legal, business and governance issues.

This webinar has been designed especially for charities and not-for-profits. Before you register for this webinar, please read the criteria here to check that you are eligible to attend. By registering for this webinar, you are confirming you meet the criteria.
