Join us at our flagship brand event - 'Brand Academy 2017 - Post-Brexit: The future for IP?' brought to you by our top-tier Brand Management practice.
Brexit means Brexit. Unfortunately, the UK government has not provided much detail since the PM uttered that (in)famous phrase. Many commentators spent the second half of 2016 trying to shed light on what the UK’s departure from the EU will mean for the legal and regulatory landscape in which brands operate, but with little information on which to base predictions. The 2017 Lewis Silkin Brand Academy will flip the script: it’s time to stop guessing what Brexit might mean and start asking what brands want Brexit to look like.
Leading IP barristers Martin Howe QC and Simon Malynicz QC will debate the pros and cons of the existing EU system and what the new landscape should look like.
- 6.00pm — registration and refreshments
- 6.30pm — panel debate
- 7.30pm-onwards — champagne reception and canapés
