Jonathan Lawes is a Peckham-based artist that creates prints with a distinctive graphic edge, reflecting his love of geometry, shape and pattern. These artworks are formed by abstract compositions created organically and develop over time due to his genuine enthusiasm for the printing process.
He works layer by layer so that the final design of the prints only emerges during the printing process itself. Jonathan is always looking to research and experiment with the latest techniques to create work. He is particularly passionate about working with more sustainable materials.
