26 February 2018
Laura Farnsworth has been named in the 2018 Timewise Power 50 awards, a roll-call of the UK’s top flexible and part-time workers who are delivering in senior roles with non-traditional working patterns.
This year’s awards feature 50 of the UK’s most senior part-time and flexible workers, across five different categories, recognising new definitions of success and an ever-evolving flexible jobs market. Laura is listed in the Power Part-Timers category for establishing and managing rockhopper, Lewis Silkin’s low cost, fixed fee HR/employment law service, provided by a team of experienced employment lawyers who work from home on part time arrangements.
The awards are compiled annually by Timewise co-founders Karen Mattison MBE and Emma Stewart MBE, to help make flexible working the new normal – by creating more role models, highlighting that senior jobs can be delivered part time, and changing the conversation on how businesses recruit senior talent.
Laura Farnsworth, partner and Head of rockhopper commented:
“I am delighted to have been listed in the 2018 Timewise Power 50. As a firm, we are proud to be recognised for our forward-thinking approach. rockhopper enables us to provide clients with an exceptional quality service and to retain talented lawyers who want to continue their career but work in a way that would normally be incompatible with a traditional law firm.”
James Davies, Divisional Managing Partner – Employment, Immigration and Reward commented:
“We are very pleased with this result. rockhopper is an important part of our firm’s future and we are proud of Laura’s achievements in leading it."
