Mental wellbeing is rising to the top of corporate agendas. Organisations are increasingly aware that a failure to address employee “wellness”, and particularly issues around mental health, can be costly. Poor mental health at work costs the UK economy up to £99 billion each year. There is clear evidence that employers who promote positive mental health in the workplace have a happier and more productive workforce.

Our roundtable is an opportunity for senior professionals in the technology sector to explore the issues affecting this sector and look at ways in which organisations can remove the mental health stigma within the workplace and encourage a healthy engaged workforce. We will share with you what Lewis Silkin is doing to promote positive mental wellbeing and we hope this will be a forum to share thoughts and ideas (and successes) and the start of an open conversation about what we need to do to provide a supporting environment for employees.
