Maternity rights continue to be something of a minefield for employers, who face a real risk of discrimination claims if things go wrong.
Adding the new shared parental leave regime and the proposal for shared grandparental leave into the mix only adds to the challenges. This session will use practical case studies to look at tricky areas where complaints of discrimination might arise, including dealing fairly with redundancies, sickness absence, and pay for different types of leave.
