Join us for our latest employment law seminar in Swansea held in partnership with Hays.
Family and parental rights continue to be a complex and sensitive area for HR professionals. This update will look at recent developments in order to help you minimise the risk of grievances or legal claims.
A new right to parental bereavement leave is due to take effect in 2020, and we’re still awaiting news as to whether proposals for grandparental leave will be taken forward. We will consider the latest position on shared parental leave, including whether it is potentially sex discrimination to pay less for this type of leave than for maternity leave. The session will also cover recent cases on maternity leave and rights, including any developments in relation to discrimination, and the related topic of flexible working on return from leave.
We will also be holding this session in Cardiff on 20 June. Click here should you wish to attend our Cardiff session.
