Child care, elder care, disability, phased retirement or simply a desire for a better work-life balance – there are many reasons why employees may want to work more fl exibly. As fl exible working becomes more of a popular option, employers are increasingly finding themselves dealing with competing requests and trying to balance the needs of the business with those of their employees.

This workshop will look at different types of flexibility and how to handle flexible working requests in practice, using both written and filmed case studies to illustrate the issues.
