31 January 2022On 31 January the Transitional Protocol: Good Practice Guidance for Continuing to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 (the Transitional Protocol), a revision of the Work Safely Protocol, was published by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment. It has been very much awaited given the easing of social restrictions and the announcement of a phased return to work from 24 January. No place for pregnancy discrimination at the workplace in Hong Kong

From April 2011, the Claimant began working for the Respondent under successive yearly contracts. Whilst employed by the Respondent, the Claimant received various recognition and appraisals for her work. She was also awarded an annual end-of-year bonus for each year during the period from 2011 to 2016.
