I was proud to join Lewis Silkin in May 2024 as one of its first permanent Senior HR Consultants in the Worksphere team, having previously provided my services as one of their independent consultants.

I have over 25 years’ multi-sector experience in HR and Employee Relations both as a consultant and in senior employed roles within global businesses.

I have broad experience in most areas of HR. In addition, areas of special expertise and interest include:

  • building local and international HR Operations and ER systems and teams;
  • global and UK Employee Relations (including dispute resolution, investigations, culture and engagement);
  • restructuring and change management;
  • the “people” aspects of Mergers and Acquisitions (pre and post deal advice) and;
  • the design and delivery of HR collateral and training for both large multi-national and smaller growth businesses

My sector experience is varied and includes:

  • Retail
  • Technology
  • Entertainment
  • Professional Services

My most recent experience includes but is not limited to:

  • Supporting the implementation of a new performance management system for a global tech business and the design and delivery of upskilling materials for remote based leaders
  • Implementation of a major benefits harmonisation programme following the merger of two global tech businesses
  • Interim HRD for a major UK arts venue
  • Creation and implementation of a new ER function within a rapidly growing international professional services business, supporting the needs of over 50 countries to provide accessible, pragmatic people solutions that were fit for their present and future needs

I am a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and an active member of other networks which more recently have included the Reward and Employee Benefits Association (REBA) and City Women Network.

As part of my role, I have always enjoyed being actively involved in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives, in particular in relation to the attraction and retention of employees with disabilities.
