I am an Associate in the Employment, Immigration and Reward team.
I advise international, specialist, and local employers in both the private and public sectors on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
I have acted for employers in claims brought in the employment tribunals and civil courts, including complex and delicate claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination, harassment, whistleblowing, and appeals.
I have experience in supporting clients with complex disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management processes, workplace investigations, redundancy exercises, dispute resolution, contract and policy reviews, post termination restrictions, health and safety concerns, employment terminations, and exits. I also support our corporate department with employment advice relating to transactional work and corporate deals including TUPE.
I have particular experience working with directors, partners, heads of business, as well as HR personnel, to achieve their desired outcome. Such experience also includes advising senior individuals in relation to all aspects of their employment including negotiation of exit terms and settlement agreements.
I also enjoy drafting and delivering training to clients on employment law issues which affect their businesses.
Outside of my role at Lewis Silkin, I am on the Committee for an LGBTQIAA+ professional network, Proud Bristol. The network arranges professional events supported by corporate sponsors with the purpose of knowledge sharing, networking, and supporting the community.
