I am an Associate in the firm's Employment team, based in the Manchester office. I studied Law at the University of Manchester and completed my LPC and MSc in Law, Business and Management in 2021.
I advise HR and management teams on a range of both contentious and non-contentious matters, across a wide range of sectors.
My non-contentious work includes providing strategic day-to-day employment and HR advice, including disciplinary/grievance procedures, sickness absence management and drafting and negotiating contracts of employment, settlement agreements and contract/policy review exercises. I also have an interest in a-typical workers, particularly apprenticeships, and regularly advise employers on such issues.
I also have experience in advising on, and managing, Employment Tribunal claims, including claims for unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and discrimination.
I am also part of Lewis Silkin’s Investigations group, and assist with independent workplace investigations for large, international businesses into complex and sensitive issues including #metoo and allegations of bullying and sexual harassment.
