We are pleased to announce our spring/summer series of online updates. This programme is aimed mainly at HR managers and those with equivalent experience of dealing with workplace employment issues – but we’d be delighted to welcome you whatever your background or grounding in employment law.
Immigration continues to be an area of crucial concern for employers, and the gradual exit from lockdown raises a number of issues regarding the continuing operation of Covid-19-related immigration concessions, the resumption of application processing and managing arrival at the border. This session will take you through the measures that the Home Office introduced in response to the Covid-19 crisis which may affect your foreign national workforce and their plans for transitioning out of them. It will also look at what the ‘new normal’ will be for visa processing and what the long-term impact of Covid-19 may be on immigration policy and the Government’s plans for the new points based system.
