Welcome to the autumn season of breakfast updates and halfday workshops. This programme is aimed mainly at HR managers and those with equivalent experience of dealing with workplace employment issues – but we’d be delighted to welcome you whatever your background or grounding in employment law.
Our interactive workshops combine a full discussion of the topic with the opportunity to learn from us and the experience of other participants.
Employment Tribunal cases are still on the increase after the abolition of fees, and discrimination claims are no exception. With high stakes in terms of emotion, reputational damage and cost, discrimination allegations are some of the most difficult issues that HR professionals have to deal with. This workshop will consider the best ways to avoid discrimination grievances and claims, and how to handle them if they do happen. We will use practical case studies throughout the session. We will also review significant recent cases on the various different types of discrimination, and provide guidance on what these may mean for your business.
