LONDON – Top 100 UK law firm Lewis Silkin LLP today announces the addition of two new partners to its corporate team and technology sector group.Tim Leeson and David Willbe bring a wealth of experience in advising technology businesses on corporate finance matters.
Tim Leeson has more than 20 years of experience advising founders, businesses, investors and banks on all stages of the corporate finance lifecycle. In addition, David Willbe advises on the full range of corporate finance transactions, from seed and angel investment rounds to IPOs, sales and acquisitions. They join the firm from DWF, where they co-ran the corporate finance function for the firm’s technology practice.
Both Tim and David work with a vast array of both established and entrepreneurial technology businesses, ranging from SaaS to hardware and from B2B fintech to B2C consumer tech. They have acted for investors such as financial institutions, funds and high net worth individuals, as well as technology-focused businesses receiving private equity and venture capital investment. Working with a range of clients from the UK as well as North America, Europe and the Middle East, their experience also includes advising on a number of AIM and other market listings, acting for both issuers and financial institutions, as well as advising on issues such as joint ventures and shareholder rights.
Taken together, the addition of Tim and David to the corporate team at Lewis Silkin represents a significant expansion of the firm’s corporate offering in the technology arena.
