Three promoted to partner at Lewis Silkin

Leading UK law firm Lewis Silkin LLP today announces the promotion of three new partners, effective 1 April. The addition of Shalina Crossley, Sam Pennington and James Storke to the partnership brings the total number of partners at the firm to 59.
Leading UK law firm Lewis Silkin LLP today announces the promotion of three new partners, effective 1 April. The addition of Shalina Crossley, Sam Pennington and James Storke to the partnership brings the total number of partners at the firm to 59.
Shalina Crossley joined the firm as a trainee and qualified in 2004, and most recently served as a Managing Associate in the firm’s renowned Employment team. She advises on all aspects of employment law, with a particular focus on the legal and professional services sector. She regularly deals with Employment Tribunal and High Court claims, as well as issues related to senior terminations, complex discrimination issues, restrictive covenants and team moves.
Sam Pennington has been promoted to partner from the role of Senior Associate. Having joined Lewis Silkin in 2006 as a newly qualified associate, he is a member of the firm’s Commercial and Corporate practice groups, as well as its Technology and Media & Entertainment industry sector focus groups. He advises clients on the full range of corporate issues, with a particular specialism in mergers and acquisitions within the marketing services and other creative sectors.
James Storke was previously a Managing Associate in the firm’s Employment team, and first joined Lewis Silkin as an Associate in 2007. Working across sectors which include technology, retail and marketing, he advises employers on issues such as contracts and policies, redundancy and restructuring, TUPE transfers, disciplinary and grievance proceedings, and whistleblowing. He also regularly defends clients against claims in the Employment Tribunal.
