Lewis Silkin advises Glass Systems North Ltd on its acquisition of two further IGU production plants

Lewis Silkin has advised Glass Systems North Ltd, a subsidiary of the leading glass unit manufacturer Press Glass SA, on its acquisition of two UK glass unit manufacturing sites from Pilkington UK Ltd.
Currently, the Glass Systems Group operates in six factories across the UK. The acquisition sees the subsidiary expand into Cumbernauld and Barnsley and strengthens its position as the largest insulated glass unit manufacturer in the UK. All acquired sites will form part of the Glass Systems Group, which was acquired by Press Glass UK Ltd in September 2015, also advised on by Lewis Silkin.
The cross-departmental Lewis Silkin deal team was led by corporate partners Sam Pennington and Paul Rajput supported by corporate associates Laura May and Sadiq Tajbhai, employment associate Richard Moore and real estate associate Patrick Brown.
