Lewis Silkin today announces the appointment of Kenix Yuen as a partner in the firm's dispute resolution team.

Joining Lewis Silkin from Hong Kong dispute resolution firm Gall Solicitors, Kenix brings experience in advising on cross border commercial litigation, international arbitration, shareholder disputes and enforcement of PRC arbitral awards.

Kenix’s appointment further strengthens Lewis Silkin’s Hong Kong partnership, and adds to the firm’s growing dispute resolution capability. Her arrival at the firm comes close behind that of Fraser Mitchell, who joined the London team in November 2023. The firm is now home to over 50 litigators across the business.

Kenix’s practice covers contractual disputes, directors’ duties, fraud and asset tracing, misrepresentation and mis-selling claims. She is also experienced in advising on regulatory investigations conducted by the Securities and Futures Commission and the Insurance Authority.

Kenix is qualified in Hong Kong and has passed the Greater Bay Area Legal Qualification Examination.

Jezamine Fewins, Co-Managing Partner and Head of Litigation at Lewis Silkin’s Hong Kong office, said:

As we continue to grow and enhance our contentious offering in Hong Kong and internationally, Kenix brings expertise and skill in an area of strategic importance to us and enhances the firm’s dispute resolution strength in our key sectors and markets. We are very pleased to welcome her to Lewis Silkin.

Richard Miskella, Joint Managing Partner of Lewis Silkin, said:

We are always excited to bring in new talent and strengthen our offering to clients in our chosen sectors and markets. Kenix’s arrival will further enhance our Dispute Resolution practice, which now comprises over 50 litigators across the firm, and we look forward to working with her to expand our practice in the Greater China region.

Kenix Yuen, Partner at Lewis Silkin, added:

I am really excited to join Lewis Silkin.
