City law firm Lewis Silkin LLP has today announced the appointment of Christopher Hitchins, who joins as a partner in the firm’s renowned Employment, Reward and Immigration (ERI) team.
City law firm Lewis Silkin LLP has today announced the appointment of Christopher Hitchins, who joins as a partner in the firm’s renowned Employment, Reward and Immigration (ERI) team. Chris joins from Morgan Lewis, where he was a partner and group leader of the labour and employment practice in the London office.
Chris has a particular focus on international projects and transactions, with many of his clients operating in multiple jurisdictions across Europe, the US and Asia. In particular, he regularly advises on large-scale and complex international transactions and outsourcing agreements.
Although his client base ranges across multiple industries, Chris has particular expertise in providing highly bespoke, strategic advice to the financial services sector, particularly for asset management, hedge fund and private equity firms, and also the life sciences sector.
Chris has a wealth of experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment law and regularly advises on the full range of UK employment law matters including recruitment, performance management, grievance and disciplinary investigations, redundancies, restrictive covenants, as well as compensation and incentives.
