Lewis Silkin has advised its client the Harbour Group on its acquisition of US based company, Thibaut Inc.
Thibaut, a global player in the wallcoverings, fabrics and upholstered furniture markets, specialises in high-end residential interior design. The company’s in-house designers produce exclusive collections under three brand names: Anna French, Thibaut and Thibaut Fine Furniture.
The Harbour Group is a privately-owned diverse manufacturing business based in Missouri, USA. Since its founding in 1976, the group has acquired 198 companies in 42 different industries.
Lewis Silkin were instructed to work alongside Harbour Group’s US lawyers, Blank Rome, and assisted with the UK aspects of the transaction including UK legal due diligence and the UK aspects of the sale and purchase documentation.
The Lewis Silkin team was led by Corporate partner Paul Rajput, alongside Senior Associates Barnaby Stokes, Gavin McNaughton and Hannah Vosper and Associates Sarah Elwes and Elizabeth Church.
