IFLR In-House Counsel Summit 2017
20 January 2017
Lewis Silkin is delighted to be speaking at this week’s IFLR In-House Counsel Summit 2017 in London for the second year in a row.
The annual In-House Counsel Summit of the International Finance Law Review draws together in-house counsel from top European corporates and UK and European-based Banks to discuss matters relating to a variety of legal developments including employment law. This event is free of charge for In-house counsel, bankers' counsel, heads of legal, and corporate executives.
Lewis Silkin is hosting two out of the three roundtable focus sessions – Employment law reform and Whistleblowing.
Employment partner Karen Baxter is covering topics around employment law alongside our colleague Valeria Morosini from the Italian Ius Laboris Firm Toffoletto De Luca Tamajo e Soci with a focus on what employers need to know about the new gender pay gap reporting obligations coming into force in the UK, the impact of Brexit on an international workforce and what employers should be doing now as well as the potential pitfalls of the gig-economy.
Toni Lorenzo and Richard Miskella, both partners in Lewis Silkin’s market-leading Employment, Immigration and Reward team, will host the roundtable discussions on Whistleblowing.
