About

I'm a commercial lawyer advising a broad range of clients, but particularly those in the creative, media & entertainment, and advertising sectors. I love working with clients with big ideas and helping them to harness and exploit their IP and the content that they create.

My background is in the arts – I worked in theatre prior to becoming a solicitor and so I bring a real grassroots understanding of the creative economy to my practice.

I am also pragmatic and commercially driven having spent time in-house on secondments to Lewis Silkin clients at the forefront of their industries including a major film and television studio, a video games services company, an independent media agency and a theatre.

Pro bono work is also integral to my practice. I have spent time in the States as an Amicus intern where I worked with mitigation specialists on defence teams for indigent clients facing the death penalty. At Lewis Silkin, I have Co-Chaired the Pro Bono Committee and founded the firm's Amicus Death Penalty Project.
