I am an Associate in the firm's Dispute Resolution team. I advise clients on commercial disputes across a broad range of sectors, but with a particular focus on media, entertainment, tech, retail, hospitality, advertising, marketing and finance.

Prior to joining Lewis Silkin I practised at a large international law firm where I gained experience in litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.

Experience

Dispute resolution

  • Advising on breach of contract claims in a broad range of areas, including international shipping contracts, employment contracts and commission agreements
  • Advising in respect of a professional negligence claim arising out of a complex property transaction
  • Acting on a range of shareholder disputes including unfair prejudice claims
  • Advising a major international financial institution in respect of two authorised push payment fraud cases
  • Advising on a civil fraud claim for a national airline following on from a deferred prosecution agreement

Technology, media and sport

  • Advising a number of media clients with respect to IP licenses and sponsorship agreements
  • Advising on a number of cyber and tech related disputes
  • Advising on a number of international and domestic arbitration matters, including both LCIA and ICC arbitrations

Competition

  • Assisting in bringing an opt-out collective action in the Competition Appeal Tribunal against a major UK institution for anti-competitive behaviour
