About

I am a Senior Associate in our Employment and Immigration team, based in Belfast.

I have worked in employment law for more than five years and have accumulated a wide range of experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters. I have worked for and advised public sector, private sector and charities on a full spectrum of employment law issues.

In relation to contentious litigation, I have predominantly represented employers in the Industrial Tribunal and Fair Employment Tribunal in claims ranging from unfair dismissal, discrimination, holiday pay, TUPE and whistleblowing. Contentious litigation is a key area of focus for me - I enjoy the fast-paced nature of this work and obtaining the most favourable solution for clients.

I also provide advice on internal matters including grievances, disciplinaries, changes to terms and conditions and industrial action, as well as providing practical guidance in respect of day-to-day issues as they arise.

Outside of work, I enjoy writing and playing sports.

My qualifications include Institute of Professional Legal Studies (Distinction) at Queen's University Belfast; Master of Laws in Clinical Legal Education at University of Ulster; and Law with Politics (2:1) at Queen's University Belfast.

I am a member of the Employment Lawyers Group NI and the Employment Lawyers Association (UK).
