About

I am a Trainee Solicitor at Lewis Silkin, having started my training contract with the firm in 2023. I'm currently in my second seat with the Digital, Commerce and Creative team having previously gained experience in the Employment team.

Prior to joining Lewis Silkin I studied Biology as an undergraduate at UCL and worked in the engineering and technology patent department at an IP firm.

I am a member of the firm's Charity & Fundraising strand and mentor a school student as part of the LS mentorship scheme.

Experience

Digital, commerce & creative

  • Advising clients across a range of sectors on commercial contracts, creative service agreements, and consumer and regulatory compliance
  • Drafting IP licenses, assignments and technology agreements for clients with software, platform and cloud-based solutions

Employment

  • Advising clients on a wide range of employment matters, including day-to-day HR issues such as redundancy processes, performance management, grievances and exits
  • Drafting employment contracts, policies and settlement agreements
  • Assisting on workplace investigations arising out of grievances for sexual harassment, bullying and discrimination
