About

I advise clients on advertising matters, consumer law and a variety of commercial contracts. Having had various in-house roles prior to joining Lewis Silkin and having been recently seconded to a luxury fashion house, I aim to provide practical advice that can be easily relayed or implemented.

I advise clients across a broad range of sectors, but with a focus on retail, advertising, technology and online platforms.

Outside of work, I have two young daughters who keep me busy (and hooked on caffeine).

Experience

Commercial, technology & IP

  • Advising advertisers and agencies on high value, global media buying agreements; advising media owners on their standard terms
  • Drafting and negotiating client / agency agreements, talent / influencer agreements and any other ancillary advertising agreements
  • Advising on outsourcing arrangements, including complex IT and payroll provider outsourcing agreements
  • Reviewing software development, licensing, managed services & professional IT service agreements

Consumer regulation

  • Drafting website terms (including terms of sale, returns policies and privacy policies) and other promotional T&Cs (including, where required, commercial participator agreements)
  • Supporting clients with responding to investigations led by the Advertising Standards Authority and the Competition and Markets Authority
  • Advising on ad hoc queries in relation to compliance with consumer protection laws, such as high level advice on labelling requirements, returns procedures, pricing and permitting website reviews
  • Providing clearance advice to beauty brands on permitted claims and avoiding medicinal claims
