About

I am a trainee in the Intellectual Property team. Having joined the firm as a paralegal, I then became a trainee in 2024.

I have an LLB law degree from the University of Kent, during which I spent a year in China studying Chinese law and language. I have also completed a postgraduate qualification in Trade Mark Law and Practice at Queen Mary, University of London.

With over 8 years' experience in trade mark and design portfolio management, I have worked on national and international trade mark filing, prosecution and enforcement work for clients in a multitude of commercial sectors. As a creative myself, I am enthusiastic about branding and the protection of ideas.

I also speak Mandarin at an intermediate level.

  • Managing client's portfolio throughout a trade mark lifecycle, including conducting clearance searches, advising on registrability and filing strategies, responding to registry objections, through to filing / defending oppositions, drafting assignment agreements and filing recordals at the UK and EU registries
