About

I am a Senior Lawyer in our rockhopper team with 15 years experience in employment and business immigration.

I have experience across contentious and non contentious employment law, including day-to-day advisory matters, managing high value tribunal claims (such as whistle blowing and discrimination), corporate / transactional work as well as working with international offices on cross jurisdictional matters. I have experience in corporate / business immigration matters, including advice on international recruitment strategies, skilled worker licences, work visas and right to work issues.

Most recently, I have worked with clients in the financial, manufacturing and retail sectors. I enjoy taking on pro bono initiatives and mentoring peers in career development.

Prior to becoming a rockhopper lawyer I was a Senior Associate in the employment team at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP.

Experience

  • Advising clients across a number of sectors on day-to-day HR matters including complex grievances and disciplinaries, long term sickness absences, holiday pay and leave issues as well as settlement agreements and exits

Transactional employment and M&A support

  • Broad experience advising on transactional matters, including corporate support, the application and impact of TUPE, drafting and negotiating executive service agreements and settlement agreements as well as advising on the drafting and interpretation of restrictive covenants

Change Management

  • Supporting clients with redundancy and changes to terms and conditions projects, including strategic and day-to-day advice on collective consultation, project management and advice on issues arising throughout the process

Immigration

  • Working regularly with clients to advise on international recruitment strategies, right to work issues and assisting clients to secure sponsor licences, general compliance and senior employee work visas
