I am an Associate in Lewis Silkin’s Dispute Resolution team specialising in commercial and contractual disputes, post-completion and corporate disputes and procurement challenges.

I act for a broad range of clients including companies within media and entertainment, retail, energy, technology, and health and pharmaceuticals industries. My practice areas cover a wide range of commercial and contractual disputes including those relating to breaches of contract and procurement. I also advise on corporate disputes including disputes between directors and/or shareholders, disputes emanating from disposals and acquisitions (including warranty claims) and those involving the interpretation of Sale and Purchase Agreements.

Recent significant experience includes:

  • Successfully defending NHS England in a £1bn procurement challenge brought to its largest ever medicines procurement involving the supply of Hepatitis C (AbbVie Limited –v- NHS Commissioning Board (operating under the name of NHS England) [2019] EWHC 61 (TCC).
  • Advising a global organisation in respect of a dispute emanating from its decision to withdraw its offer to provide a multi-million-pound loan facility.
  • Advising a global diagnostics provider on its contractual rights and protection of its confidential information in relation to a procurement challenge.

Technology

Working closely with clients in the technology sector is of particular interest to me. I advise clients on all aspects of the litigation life cycle and commonly work with clients who create breakthrough products; including in diagnostics, medical devices and nutrition. My experience in these industries has allowed me to work closely with clients’ legal and business stakeholders, to best understand their commercial needs and to achieve positive and cost-effective results.

Media and Entertainment

I work with clients in the media and entertainment sector, and have recent experience advising an international television production and distribution group.

I work closely with clients to resolve matters relating to contractual performance, including, but not limited to, supplier disputes and the recovery of disputed and undisputed invoices.

I am a fluent welsh speaker and a member of the Procurement Lawyers Association.
