I am an Associate in Lewis Silkin’s immigration team and I joined the firm in 2011.
I am a qualified Associate in the Immigration team.
I joined Lewis Silkin in August 2011 as an Immigration PA. Following various promotions, I became a Legal Assistant in October 2016. I qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in November 2019 and became an Associate from that date.
I hold a Level 6 Diploma in Law and Practice through the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx). I also hold a bachelor degree in Linguistics from Lancaster University and, prior to my legal career, I spent 2.5 years teaching English and Music in Italy.
Immigration & Global Mobility
On a day-to-day basis, I advise clients on a broad range of immigration applications, predominantly in the Advertising, Fashion, Media & Entertainment industries. I also guide clients through Points-Based System applications, including under the Skilled Worker, Global Business Mobility (Senior or Specialist Worker), and Temporary Work (Creative) categories. In addition, I commonly advise private individuals on spouse/unmarried partner applications under Appendix FM, late EUSS applications, Indefinite Leave to Remain and Naturalisation cases.
I am experienced in handling tricky sponsor licence applications, advising on eligibility and the application process itself as well as conducting mock audits to ensure ongoing compliance. I particularly enjoy spending time with clients to upskill their teams on visa processes, sponsor management, compliance duties and the prevention of illegal working.
