I am an Associate in the Employment team, advising clients in a range of sectors on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law in England and Wales.
I advise on both contentious and non-contentious employment issues and HR matters.
I have a strong commercial background and particular experience advising on the employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions and large-scale procurements, drafting contracts of employment, reviewing staff handbooks and HR policies, advising on internal grievance and disciplinary processes, redundancies and terminations including the negotiation of settlement agreements.
I also have good contentious experience and have represented both defendants and claimants in claims of unfair dismissal, discrimination, harassment, and unlawful deduction of wages.
Prior to joining Lewis Silkin, I studied Law at the University of Bristol and completed my training contract at a leading regional law firm in Cardiff.
Alongside my practice, I volunteer with the charity Rights of Women providing free legal advice to women suffering from sexual harassment at work.
