I assist on a wide range of employment matters, covering both NI and GB. I have experience in complex Employment Tribunal litigation, as well as on advising clients on their policies and procedures.

I have particularly focused on supporting the litigation team, in both the High Court and in arbitrations, regarding team moves, conspiracy and breach of post-termination restrictions claims.

I have advised clients in the construction, retail and IT sectors, but focus in particular on the financial and professional services sectors.

Experience

High Court litigation and arbitration

  • Assisting in all stages of litigation in complex High Court and arbitration proceedings involving team move and conspiracy claims
  • Supporting the team in reviewing pleadings, drafting correspondence and other documents, liaising with counsel and generally ensuring the case is ready for trial
  • Advising on large disclosure exercises, from engaging with platform providers to reviewing documents for relevance and privilege

Employment tribunal litigation

  • Assisting on claims involving all forms of discrimination and whistleblowing, as well as TUPE, unfair dismissal and equal pay
  • Drafting witness statements and ET3s, as well as Tribunal and inter partes correspondence
  • Reviewing and preparing disclosure

Employment contracts and policies

  • Reviewing contractual policies and procedures concerning a wide range of employment issues, including TUPE, redundancy, and maternity and paternity pay / leave
  • Liaising with clients to ensure policies are compliant
