I am qualified as a European Patent Attorney and a UK Chartered Patent Attorney.
I am principally responsible for the prosecution of European, British and PCT patent applications. I am also experienced in representing clients at oral proceedings at the European Patent Office, whether in examination or opposition. My practice covers a wide range of technology, but particular areas of expertise include display technology, ink jet printer technology and wireless communication devices.
Previous experience includes working as an intern at a patent law firm in New York. and working at the Cavendish Laboratory in Cambridge, where I updated and improved control software for a set of electron-beam lithography machines.
I have lectured on European patent law in the UK and in Japan, and have been published in the Japanese journal “Patent”.
I completed a secondment with one of our major clients in Japan in 2008 and continue to learn Japanese.
