I am a European and Chartered UK Patent Attorney responsible for the prosecution of European, British and PCT patent applications. I have over 15 years' experience representing clients in hearings at the European Patent Office, both in examination and opposition proceedings. I regularly work with overseas clients from the US, China and Japan.
My practice covers a wide range of technology, but particular areas of expertise include display technology, printer technology, fluid handling systems, and wireless communication devices.
My previous experience includes working as an intern at a patent law firm in New York and working to develop control software at the Cavendish Laboratory in Cambridge.
I have lectured on European patent law in the UK, Japan, Korea and China, and have been published in the Japanese journal 'Patent'. I completed a secondment with one of our major clients in Japan in 2008 and continue to learn Japanese.
