I am an associate in the Employment, Immigration and Reward division. I am also a member of the French Desk and part of the investigations team.
I joined Lewis Silkin in 2014 as a paralegal in the Employment team, before starting my training contract in 2017.
I support both employers and individuals on a wide range of employment issues, whether advisory or contentious. These include drafting and reviewing employment contracts and policies, providing support in relation to disciplinary and grievance procedures, advising on discrimination matters and dealing with Employment Tribunal claims.
I am also a member of the French Desk and provide French companies with advice on the specificities of UK employment law. Having obtained a law degree from France I have some knowledge of French law which, in addition to being a native speaker, means that I am able to better understand concerns which French businesses may have.
I routinely work with multinational clients on employment law issues, working closley with international colleagues to coordinate advice and help clients with their multijurisdictional employment needs. I have extensive experience in project management of international projects including advising a client on closure of its stores across various European jurisdictions, supporting a client with various projects across EMEA including review of severance payments, notice periods, and carrying out of collective redundancies, and assisting a client with deciding on the best employment structures to establish in various European countries.
