I joined Lewis Silkin in 1999 as an Employment Associate and shortly afterwards was promoted to Senior Associate. In 2013 I moved to a new role as Head of LS In-house; Lewis Silkin’s flexible resourcing service and one of the first law firm offerings of this kind. I am involved with every aspect of the service from recruiting the lawyers, managing lawyers' placements to ensuring clients receive the best possible service.

We designed the service to help the growing number of businesses with an existing inhouse legal resource but who sometimes need an extra pair of hands to deal with a surge of work, a large project or provide cover for an existing team member’s absence.

Our LS In-house lawyers are employees or consultants of the firm and fully integrated into our award winning teams. Our lawyers undergo a rigorous selection process and have high level legal and commercial experience, enabling them to become a key part of our clients’ teams.

We have placed our lawyers across a broad spectrum of industry sectors including financial services, energy, international consulting, technology, retail, professional services, professional bodies and media, for a variety of different projects
