I am a UK and EU Trade Mark Attorney at Lewis Silkin. Prior to qualifying, I gained six years of experience within Intellectual Property. Most of this time was spent at an international American law firm, where I assisted with the prosecution and enforcement of trade mark and design portfolios for global corporations within the technology, motorsport, financial, and retail sectors.

I am a member of: The Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys, The International Trademark Association, and MARQUES.

Trade Marks & Portfolio Management

I advise on all aspects of trade marks and designs including:

• clearance of brand names within the United Kingdom and European Union,

• devising trade mark filing strategies to develop, manage and protect brands, including prosecution within the United Kingdom, European Union and globally,

• enforcing intellectual property rights, including; opposition, cancellation and revocation proceedings at the United Kingdom and European Union Intellectual Property Offices,

• intellectual property due diligence, and executing complex assignments of intellectual property rights as a result of company mergers and acquisitions.
