I am a partner and specialist employment lawyer with over 15 years’ experience advising on employment law issues.
I act for a range of national and international employers in a variety of sectors, including technology, manufacturing, financial services, real estate, retail, professional services and advertising.
I therefore advise on a broad spectrum of employment issues from general HR queries and employment relations matters to more complex areas such as TUPE, discrimination, post-termination restrictions and senior terminations. I regularly advise on restructuring and redundancies, including large scale collective processes.
I have considerable experience of handling grievances and disputes and regularly act for clients defending claims in the Employment Tribunal as well as dealing with Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms.
In addition, I often work with our colleagues in our global alliance, Ius Laboris, obtaining and coordinating advice from other jurisdictions as part of international projects.
Global Mobility
As a member of our Global Mobility specialist team, my work includes advising clients on the employment, immigration and tax implications of hiring and moving employees internationally. I also work with clients to help them create and refine their Global Mobility strategies and policies.
Technology
I work with a wide variety of businesses in the technology sector, including suppliers of both hardware and software. I therefore have considerable experience in dealing with issues such as data protection, intellectual property and confidential information.
Financial and Professional Services
I advise a number of clients operating in these sectors and have good experience of dealing with remuneration and bonus matters, regulatory issues and sensitive disputes with senior employees.
