I am part of the Employment team based in Cardiff. I work on a variety of advisory and contentious matters for employers. This typically includes advice on employment contracts and staff policies, performance management and disciplinary processes, termination of the employment relationship, individual and collective redundancies, off-payroll working rules (IR35), etc. I also advice individuals on settlement agreements and other various employment matters.

As a member of Lewis Silkin’s International Group, I advise clients across jurisdictions and regularly work on multi-jurisdictional projects for companies with a global presence. Recent examples include managing large-scale international projects on Covid-19 contingency measures, harmonisation of terms and conditions of employment, remote and flexible working arrangements, etc.

I am a member of Lewin Silkin’s Spanish desk, working with a variety of clients in Spanish-speaking countries and providing advice in English and Spanish. I deliver legal update sessions to clients on employment law developments in Latin America.

Prior to starting a career in law, I had worked for over ten years in the public sector on EU-related matters, at the regional government of Catalonia in Barcelona and at the European Commission in Albania and Belgium, as well as an international development consultant in the Western Balkans.
