I am a UK Chartered Patent Attorney, European Patent Attorney, and UPC representative. I joined the profession in 2001 and I was a partner at two leading international IP firms before joining Lewis Silkin in 2023.

I handle the drafting and prosecution of domestic and international patent applications I have extensive experience with post-grant and contentious IP proceedings including oppositions and appeals I also co-ordinate the maintenance, and the exploitation of world-wide patent portfolios.

I provide strategic IP advice to entrepreneurs, startups, and angle investors. I have also lectured on various topics of European Patent Law in international conferences.

I work with a wide range of technologies and my areas of expertise are in the field of medical technology including implants, laboratory equipment, analytical devices, prosthetics, formulations, and drug delivery mechanisms. I have a special interest in blockchain technology and quantum computing. I have also gained considerable experience in the automotive field, aircraft design, automated manufacturing systems, and CleanTech.

Before entering the profession, I completed a Master of Chemistry degree and my research project specialised in the use of calixarenes in metal-based catalysis.
