I am an Employment Managing Associate in our Hong Kong office.
I am qualified in Hong Kong and speak Cantonese, English and Mandarin. I was born and raised in Hong Kong, and I obtained my JD Degree and PCLL from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Prior to studying law, I completed my Bachelor Degree of Social Sciences at the University of Hong Kong with First Class Honours.
I joined Lewis Silkin’s Hong Kong office in 2019 and qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2016. The clients I work with come from a range of sectors, including start-ups, tech firms, retail and financial institutions. I advise on a full range of employment law issues including redundancies and terminations of employment, reviewing and drafting of employment contracts, employee handbook, bonus policies etc, leading regional employment law projects across all major Asia Pacific jurisdictions, grievance and disciplinary matters and data privacy.
I have particular experience advising on employment disputes. I recently assisted a client to settle a Labour Tribunal claim brought by its former senior employee in relation to his termination payments. I am also currently assisting a client to defend claims brought by its former independent contractors at the Labour Department.
I speak at external seminars and provide internal client training on topical employment issues, most recently on diversity and inclusion. I have contributed articles to numerous trade publications including Hong Kong Economic Times and HK Lawyer.
