Experience

I advise a diverse range of clients in multiple areas, including:

Employment Tribunal Disputes

  • Proven track record of successfully representing clients in a wide range of employment tribunal claims, with a particular interest in discrimination disputes, high value claims, and those involving niche points of law or complex circumstances.
  • Effectively negotiating alternative resolutions where it makes commercial sense to do so.

General Employment Law

  •  Drafting and reviewing contracts and workplace policies.
  • Advising on disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, and redundancy processes.
  • Providing guidance on compliance with the latest employment regulations.

Industry Experience

I have significant experience advising clients in the retail and consumer industries, developing an understanding of sector-specific challenges, and providing tailored solutions.

Approach and Philosophy

I am to provide pragmatic, practical and commercial sensible advice which aligns with business objectives, ensuring efficiency and clarity along the way.

My down-to-earth manner allows me to build strong, trusting relationships with my clients. I provide up-to-date advice that helps businesses remain compliant and competitive. Whether working on preventative measures or resolving disputes, I aim to deliver an exceptional service that exceeds client expectations.

Beyond my core role in employment law, I am committed to DEI, with a particular passion for promoting equal opportunities for those from ethnic minority groups and socially disadvantaged backgrounds. My dedication to DEI extends to my pro bono work and where I, amongst other areas, support initiatives aimed at increasing access to legal resources for underrepresented communities. I have also mentored junior lawyers from less advantaged backgrounds and am keen to help develop the next generation of legal professionals.
