I advise and support employers on how to navigate all aspects of Irish employment law from agency workers to zero hours contracts and everything in between. Having worked in Lewis Silkin's London office for 5 years, I have good experience working across jurisdictions, although I now focus exclusively on Irish employment law from our Dublin office.

I have over 10 years' experience in employment law and focus on clients' strategic objectives to achieve commercial and pragmatic solutions. I advise multinational and Irish employers across a broad range of sectors, but with a particular focus on technology, life sciences and retail.

  • Advising employers on how best to deal with sexual harassment and bullying complaints
  • Supporting employers to comply with TUPE as part of mergers and acquisitions as well as negotiating employment aspects of commercial deals
  • Helping employers with Workplace Relation Commission inspections and compliance with working time and record keeping obligations
  • Managing multi-jurisdictional advice on business critical employment law queries

Employment litigation

  • Representing employers in the Workplace Relations Commission, Labour Court, High Court and Court of Appeal in the technology, retail, financial and professional services sectors
  • Defending dismissal injunctions in the High Court
  • Acting for employers in employment equality claims, unfair dismissal and constructive dismissal claims as well as working time and payment of wages claims
