I am a Senior Associate in the Employment, Immigration and Reward division.
I support employers on a wide range of employment issues covering both day-to-day advisory work as well as contentious matters. This includes drafting and reviewing employment contracts and policies, advising on disciplinary, grievances, redundancies and other employee relations issues and advising on employment terminations and exits. I have acted for a variety of employers in the Employment Tribunal on all types of employment litigation including unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing. In addition to this, I am involved in advising on the employment law aspects of global acquisitions and outsourcings and regularly co-ordinate employment law advice across multiple jurisdictions for international projects.
Prior to joining Lewis Silkin and qualifying as a solicitor, I had a career in HR and worked for over 10 years within a US headquartered global technology company. I led a team of HR managers dealing with a variety of complex employee relations matters such as disciplinaries, grievances, performance management and redundancies across the UK and Europe, Middle East and Africa.
I also hold Chartered Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
