Lewis Silkin promotes partners in London and Dublin

LONDON, DUBLIN – Lewis Silkin LLP has today announced the promotion of three new partners across its offices, including two in London and one in Dublin.

Dublin

Linda Hynes joined Lewis Silkin’s Dublin office in 2018 as a Managing Associate, advising on all aspects of employment law. Prior to joining the firm, Linda headed up an employment practice in a boutique Dublin firm advising on contentious and non-contentious employment law, compensation and benefit matters, as well as dispute resolution. Previous to this, she worked in-house at an international drinks manufacturer in Ireland where she also advised on employment matters. In addition to her employment practice, Linda is also a certified Data Protection practitioner advising on data protection compliance, breaches and international data transfers. Linda was recognised as Chambers’ Associate to Watch for Employment in Ireland and becomes Lewis Silkin’s second partner in Dublin along with Siobhra Rush.

Geraint Lloyd-Taylor trained at Lewis Silkin and was made Legal Director and deputy head of the firm’s market-leading Advertising and Marketing sector group in 2017. Geraint works on a wide spectrum of legal and regulatory issues in relation to brand-led content, including advertising and marketing campaigns, social media and PR, advising renowned brands, agencies and trade bodies on matters ranging from copyright and trade mark issues to consumer protection and investigations by the ASA and CMA. He has been listed as an Associate to Watch by Chambers UK for Media & Entertainment: Advertising & Marketing, and as a ‘highly recommended’ Next Generation Lawyer for Advertising & Marketing matters in Legal 500. He is a leading voice on LGBT+ issues, as well as wider diversity matters, within the advertising sector.

Gavin McNaughton joined Lewis Silkin’s corporate team in London in 2016 as a Senior Associate. Gavin specialises in both domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, acting for companies, shareholders and directors on the full range of corporate issues. He has particular experience of acting for clients in the technology and sports sectors, advising throughout all stages of a company’s life cycle.
