Lewis Silkin has advised Sarah Raven’s Kitchen & Garden Limited on the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Rookery Farm Packing Limited

Lewis Silkin has advised its client, Sarah Raven’s Kitchen & Garden, on the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Rookery Farm Packing Limited, the plant nursery and order fulfilment service provider with which it has worked for thirteen years. The directors of Rookery Farm, David & Elaine Robinson, are staying on to manage the operation which employs some 50 permanent staff.
Sarah Raven’s Kitchen & Garden is a fast growing direct-to-consumer retailer of quality plants, seeds and gardening accessories that has a highly engaged, loyal customer base. This acquisition gives Sarah Raven the ability to increase capacity, enabling them to achieve their longer-term growth plans.
The Lewis Silkin team was led by Corporate partner Paul Rajput with principal support from Joe Lythgoe and Matthew Rowbotham (Corporate), Emily Meredith-Hardy and Aimee Dring (Real Estate), JJ Shaw (Digital, Commerce & Creative), and Victoria Northedge (Employment).
