Lewis Silkin French Desk advises the French group Descours & Cabaud on its acquisition of Hayley 24/7 Engineering Services

01 February 2018

The French Desk assisted existing client Descours & Cabaud SA in its acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Hayley 24/7 Engineering Services Limited which completed in December 2017.

This complements the commercial offering of the Hayley Group (50% owned by Descours & Cabaud since September 2016, an acquisition on which the French Desk also advised the Descours & Cabaud Group).

The cross departmental French Desk team was led corporate tax partner Matthew Rowbotham, employment associate Richard Moore and real estate associate Emily Meredith-Hardy and assisted by trainee Ludivine Gegaden.

Through the Hayley Group, with its 40 branches covering the whole country from Poole to Inverness, Descours & Cabaud now offers a comprehensive range of MRO products for industrial maintenance bearings, power transmission, sealing products, tools, personal protective equipment, and fluid power in the UK combined with value-added services such as assembly and repair facilities, the type of services provided by Hayley 247 Engineering Services to support the UK based clients in their search for improvement in productivity and efficiency.
