Lewis Silkin appointed to Crown Commercial Service wider public sector legal services panel

The new framework covers a broad range of legal services including commercial, contracts, corporate, data protection, dispute resolution, employment, immigration, intellectual property, real estate and tax is available to a wide range of public bodies, including local and regional authorities, housing associations and NHS bodies. This means that if you are a public sector organisation and you qualify to use this CCS framework, you can now appoint us through the contract.

Our appointment is under Lot 1 – Regional Services of the panel, alongside 40 other law firms. The Lot is valued at £70m over the next three years with an option for CCS to extend by a further 12 months.

The CCS panel allows UK public sector organisations to commission legal services across a range of areas including corporate, commercial, procurement, property and construction, litigation, data protection and employment. Commissioners can come from across the public sector including local and regional government, housing associations, education, healthcare, charities and social businesses with the aim of saving money when procuring professional legal services.
