Lewis Silkin announces two promotions to the partnership for 2022

30 March 2022

Lewis Silkin has today announced the promotion of two individuals to Partner, representing the firm’s market-leading Employment and Immigration practices.

The new Partners are:

Lee Nair

Having been at the firm for nearly 10 years, Lee Nair has become a key member of Lewis Silkin’s Employment practice, and chairs its specialist TUPE group as well as its contingent workforce group. She has particular experience advising on employment law aspects of complex global acquisitions and outsourcings, frequently coordinating multi-jurisdictional legal advice on international projects, as well as Employment Tribunal proceedings. Lee works with clients across a range of sectors including technology, the creative industries, retail and life sciences.

Stephen O’Flaherty

Stephen has worked within Lewis Silkin’s Immigration practice for nearly a decade, specialising in global mobility issues across the sport, fashion & entertainment, and technology sectors. Recognised in The Lawyer’s Hot 100 2022, Stephen advises sports clubs, players and coaches, as well as fashion and entertainment brands – including top modelling agencies and retailers - on the international transfer of talent. Stephen leads Lewis Silkin’s growing immigration offering in Belfast, following the firm’s launch in Northern Ireland in 2021.

Jo Evans, Chair of Lewis Silkin, commented:

“We extend our warmest congratulations to Lee and Stephen and are pleased to welcome them to the partnership. They have both demonstrated outstanding dedication to their clients and colleagues, as well as whole-hearted commitment to our culture and to delivering the highest standards of client service. We’re excited to see them take the next step in their professional journeys at Lewis Silkin and continuing to play role in our growth as future leaders within our firm.”

These promotions (which take effect as of April 1st) bring the total number of partners at Lewis Silkin to 76 across its offices in London, Oxford, Cardiff, Dublin, Belfast and Hong Kong.
