Lewis Silkin advises Press Glass on its acquisition of the Glass Systems Group

Lewis Silkin has advised Press Glass UK Ltd, the UK subsidiary of leading Polish glass unit manufacturer, Press Glass SA, on the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of the Glass Systems Group.

Based in the UK, the Glass Systems Group includes two of the UK’s largest manufacturers and distributors of sealed glass units, Glass Systems Ltd and Glass Systems (Direct) Ltd as well as glass strengthening business Vizor Tempered Glass Ltd.

Following the deal, Press Glass plans to work with the current directors of the Glass Systems group to grow domestic glass unit production within the UK from 50,000 units per week to more than 65,000 units per week within the next 24 months.

The Lewis Silkin deal team was led by corporate partner Paul Rajput supported by senior corporate associate Sam Pennington as well as corporate associate Sadiq Tajbhai and real estate & development associate Patrick Brown and represents the second significant UK transaction that Lewis Silkin have advised on for Press Glass.
